Statistics: Russian producer price index falls 0.3% in September
MOSCOW, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- The Russian producer price inflation index fell 0.3% on the month in September after decreasing 0.6% in August, and 1.2% on the year, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Thursday.
In January–September, the prices declined 2.8%.
Uncut diamond prices dove 82.8%, iron ore sinter cake 12.7%, iron ore concentrate 12.3%, copper concentrate 7.2%, wolfram concentrate 6.2%, while amber price grew 27.3%, natural gas one 20.3%, gold ore 10.5%.
In the processing industry, prices for some types of chemicals decreased with fatty industrial alcohol ones falling 11.5%.
In the food industry, wheat price fell 23.1% and the beetroot sugar one 13.6%.
Oil and oil product prices grew with the gasoline ones rising 4.9%, light oil product ones 4.5%, diesel fuel 2.8%.
In 2018, prices of industrial producers rose 11.7%, the service said earlier.
